Jacob and Dana

I sure do miss my Dane-Dane. I love you!

Three Generations of Perrin boys

By now everyone has heard me say that Jacob was the first boy born in my family in 20 years, before that it had been 36. And that they all have April birthdays ... the only April birthdays in three generations. Well, here they are. This is my Uncle Bump, my cousin Heath and Jacob.

Jean Jean is so funny!!!

Perrin, Jacob and Mary Pinson. Gabby wanted them all to have matching pjs for Christmas Eve.

This is so much fun!

Merry Christmas II

I loved the paper and ribbon the best!

Santa gave me these really cool sunglasses, and I did not want to take them off.

Peek a boo!

Merry Christmas III

Nana and Pappy bought Mollie Kate and me the coolest wagons!!!!

This was the funniest thing! Mollie Kate was bound and determined to sit in Jacob's lap. They were so funny together. He just let her crawl all over him.

8 months old

YEAH!!! I turned 8 months old in December. I am learning to do so much. Watch out Mommy and Daddy.

This may be my Rookie year, but I am standing already. (He could actually put all his weight on his legs and "stand" in our laps since he was only a few weeks old.)

Cheese!!!

Christmas decorating

Jacob and Clay were supposed to be helping me decorate the house for Christmas. Instead, Clay introduced Jacob to a jingle bell.

Comb-over

Clay thought it would be funny to give Jacob a comb-over. Doesn't he have the cutest smile ever!!!

Jacob's Christmas Program at School

I got to be an angel for my first Christmas program at school.

Mommy, Daddy, Perrin and Gabby came and watched me. Perrin said that she was so proud of me and that she loved my angel wings.

This is my friend Will. His Mommy and my Mommy are friends from Girls State in high school. And he only lives one street up from me and is in my room at school.

Mommy and Daddy were so excited!

First Egg Bowl

Jacob and Daddy after the Egg Bowl. No ... we did not take him to the game because it was so cold, but he was in Starkville. Gabby was keeping him at Heather's apartment and brought him to The Horne Family's tailgate after the game. Caro, thanks for the awesome picture!!!

Jacob and Mollie Kate

We took this picture at Mollie Kate's first birthday party. They had the best time playing together. Jacob has a lot of girls to protect!

It's Fall Y'all

Mommy really enjoyed her week off before starting her new job! Of course, that meant that she was going to make me do a lot of smiling! We found these Fall decorations at the park that we go to. We borrowed some pumpkins for Uncle Josh and Aunt Jo (THANKS!!) and took them to the park with us.

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween!!! "Superman" had a good Halloween. He went trick or treating, but his mean Mommy would not let him have any candy.

My first hair cut

Mommy finally let someone cut my mullet off, but she would not allow anyone to touch my mohawk. Thank you so much Aunt Jo. You are the coolest next door neighbor.

Jacob and Perrin at the Fall Festival

I had to upload this because Jacobman has the funniest look on his face. He did not like looking into the sun, I guess!!!! Either that or he got mad at me for not letting him eat the hay. Perrin was smiling as big and as quick as she could because the hay was hurting her legs and she wanted to go back and play in the jumping thing.

I'm 6 months old!!!

Ok ... so these aren't my traditional monthly birthday pictures, but these really share what he is like. He is the funniest child!!! We had a great time taking these pictures. He had his 6 month check up too. He weighs 20lb 4 oz and is 28 inches long – this puts him in the 90th percentile in both categories. He is a big boy! And we got our first tooth last Saturday!! Quite possibly four more to add to that one real soon. Four on the bottom and one on top. He is growing up so fast.

Mississippi State Fair

Jacob made his first trip to the Mississippi State Fair last night with me, Dana, Meg and Jason. He loved all the lights and seemed to have a great time looking around. Notice what his shirt says ... Corn Dog, so Mommy had to have a corn dog too. Dana got ice cream, and Jacob did not understand why he could not have any. One of Meg's favorite parts of the fair was the petting zoo. Jacob could not decide whether to look at the lights or the animals. He liked watching Meg feed them though. Don't worry ... Mommy would not let him touch anything. It was a fun evening all around. Thanks again Meg and Jason for inviting us to tag along.

Jacob working out

This is Jacob in his jumparoo working out Sunday night. So funny!! He did this for over an hour. He wore himself out ... he fell asleep taking his bedtime bottle!

Duck Bath

Both these pictures were too cute of him for me not to post both of them. I just love his smile!!! This is Perrin's duck bath. He had a good time playing in it, but is about to out grow it! He was splashing a lot and then I got the camera out and he stopped. Can't do his tricks for the camera. You would think that I would learn!

The Three Musketeers

Mary Pinson, Perrin and Jacob dressed for the State game. Go Bulldogs!!! Or as confused Perrin says, "Go Ole State. Go Dogs. Hotty Potty Go Chargers. Go Beth" (Grenada High's mascot is the Charger and Beth is our cousin that she watches in the band.) Mary Ann and Kevin are trying to keep her very well-rounded. Oh yeah ... she will also tell you that God lives in Tennessee (Kevin is a huge Vols fan.) I don't think I will be saying the same for Jacob ... 100% sure he will not be confused on who to cheer for!

I bought them matching outfits. Aren't they cute!

Jacob and Dylan

This is Jacob and his buddy Dylan. Jacob and Dylan are 3 days apart. His mother Jen and I used to work together (before she left me to move to New Jersey ... so sad ... I really, really miss my friend!). The boys were due a day apart, and we had a great time being pregnant together. It is so nice to have someone going through the same things you are at the same time. It is still great now as we talk about the different stages they are at.

Jen and Dylan, we had a blast. Can't wait for you to come back in November!!

Laughing out loud

Jacob and I were playing last night. I started tickling him, and he would laugh out loud. I got Clay to get the camera out, so of course Jacob stopped doing his tricks. But he did it really good at the beginning of this video. You can't help but smile when you hear the laughter of children!

Jacob Sleeping

This is Jacob's new sleeping position. I lay him down in the bed, and he immediately rolls on his side. This night he was snuggled up to the blanket that my Aunt made for me when I was born.

This night, he decided to prop his feet on the rolled up blanket! Notice that his feet are crossed. He has recently started doing this. He will do it while you are feeding him ... he lays back real far, completely stretching out, and crosses his feet at the ankles. Just like a man already!!! What am I in store for?????
