Jacob and I were playing last night. I started tickling him, and he would laugh out loud. I got Clay to get the camera out, so of course Jacob stopped doing his tricks. But he did it really good at the beginning of this video. You can't help but smile when you hear the laughter of children!

Laughing out loud

Jacob Sleeping
This is Jacob's new sleeping position. I lay him down in the bed, and he immediately rolls on his side. This night he was snuggled up to the blanket that my Aunt made for me when I was born.
This night, he decided to prop his feet on the rolled up blanket! Notice that his feet are crossed. He has recently started doing this. He will do it while you are feeding him ... he lays back real far, completely stretching out, and crosses his feet at the ankles. Just like a man already!!! What am I in store for?????

My first trip to Heaven (aka Starkville)
Me and Jacob before the game started. He is all decked out in his Maroon and White from Aunt Heather. He was having a blast watching everything that was going on. Right after this picture was taken, there was a guy next to us that was ringing his cowbell. Jacob just stared at the cowbell and smiled. I got the guys attention to ring it again and look at Jacob's face. Jacob smiled at him when he rang it and the guy said "That is a true Bulldog." I am such a proud Mommy!
Chillin' with Aunt Heather during the second half. He is obsessed with water bottles. He took mine from me in the third quarter and never gave it back.
I hate that the lights messed this picture up. He is smiling because the wind was blowing. He loves being outside.

Bath Time
Jacob loves taking a bath. Clay happened to walk in from football at the same time that Jacob was getting his bath. They did this for a good 15 minutes. Before I got the camera going, Clay had him laughing out load!!! He was so tickled.
Another one of him laughing ... I can't get enough of it! He gets so excited in this one. That is Clay, Dana and me laughing in the background.

I'm 5 months old today!!!
Sittin' in Mama's chair like a big boy.
The smile that makes everything ok and worth while.
It amazes me how long he is!!! Maybe he will be a basketball player ... not sure where he will get those skills from though! I'm personally still hoping for a left-handed first baseman with some height .... Brinson, you going to help me out here?

Jacob and the cup
Jacob has a new found love of cups of cold water. In this video he gets so excited about the cup that he keeps falling over. Watch his tongue ... so funny!!!
In this one, Jacob gets mad at me when I try and take it away. Then he reaches for it to try and stop me from taking it away again. He is my determined child ... do we really even expect him to be any other way?!?!

Our little redneck
Mommy surprised Daddy by putting Jacob in all camo. Daddy got the duck calls out for fun. I was actually pretty shocked that the sound did not bother him. He loved it!

Jacob's heart beat
Clay and Jacob have a game where Clay puts his head on Jacob's chest and makes a heart beat sound. Jacob thinks it is so funny!

Clay and Jacob talking to each other
This was a video taken in August of Jacob and Clay talking to each other. I love the way that Jacob laughs with his eyes. Clay does the same thing.

Jacob's message to Mandy
Mandy, I finally figured out how to get this to you. Jacob wanted to tell you to come see him soon. This was taken when he was about a month and a half in early June.
